New Orleans to Me

I am very impressed with all the posts and look forward to learning more about your likes/dislikes and knowledge about New Orleans. Since you all posted a picture, I thought I would do the same to share my feelings about the city.

I like this picture because it shows the beauty and age of New Orleans, but also an image of New Orleans that is not all about partying and Mardi Gras, but really how people live and how families are raised here. As you can tell (and as you will hear more about during the semester), I love New Orleans and hope that even though a class about Crime in New Orleans, you will see how truly magnificent a place it is.
