Foundations of Crime in New Orleans

It seems that these protesters are not only frustrated with the crime taking place in their city but they are also angered and saddened by the heavy law enforcement presence and lack of emphasis and priority on education. There are many factors that go into criminal behavior and it may be concluded that people who are oppressed and marginalized in society also lack access to education and therefore are more likely to commit crimes.
